Maybe it is more like that. I get hit on all the time when in costume and I find it incredible that any bloke would not be able to see past the blocked eyebrows, glitter, lashes, corsets etc and realise that underneath is a very ordinary fat old lady hehe.MrsC (Maryanne)https://www.blogger.com/profile/14440723067459232998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024572182015008955.post-35066282209428962132018-09-02T13:54:51.489-07:002018-09-02T13:54:51.489-07:00They sure do, especially with the LED stage lights...They sure do, especially with the LED stage lights becoming increasingly common -the effect is huge. I work on the principle that I can wear it any time unfinished, by doing sections that make sense. I've worn this costume several times with incompleted rhinestoning and noone notices hehe. GemTac is fab once dry but it takes SO LONG to do so, I could never get this thing done. I moved it four times today and even with the glue not quitedry, nothing shifted, or stuck to something else. Last two panels to go! Wish me luck :)MrsC (Maryanne)https://www.blogger.com/profile/14440723067459232998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024572182015008955.post-77860516447122472232018-09-02T04:44:07.540-07:002018-09-02T04:44:07.540-07:00This is the exact opposite of camouflage I have ju...This is the exact opposite of camouflage I have just realised.Tom Stephensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05979590950587415840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024572182015008955.post-51108842646371665092018-09-02T00:56:03.006-07:002018-09-02T00:56:03.006-07:00Oh my God, I am feeling your pain. They will look amazing together.<br />I love rhinestones, they really up the ante on a garment, especially under stage lights. Boy, are they a pain to apply in any sort of meaningful way. That is a top tip about the beeswax to pick them up. I either use a slightly damp fingertip or a pair of tweezers so guaranteed they will end up the wrong way round in a heap of glue. I love Gemtac and use it religiously. You have the patience of a saint. :) XxMother of Reinventionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14409826036412353940noreply@blogger.com
